This year, I return to the sea — not as a place, but as a presence.
B&W / C Sea is a meditation on impermanence and intimacy, to listen without imposing.
Most depictions show the sea when she shouts — crashing against our constructs or reclaiming her space.
But the works are about the quieter moments: when she whispers. In those silences, I found an unexpected richness — shifts in tone, punctuation, even pauses. A language of water.
Alongside this dialogue, I present a glimpse of a personal transition: from my long-standing work in black, white, and all the darkness in between, toward abstraction and origin, toward color and chaos.
Not chaos as disorder, but as kháos — the mythological void from which all things emerge.
I hope this exhibition offers you space — to observe, to feel, to converse.
And perhaps, next time you meet the sea, you’ll stay a little longer in her language.
