Rebbelib* is a serie of side-lit 3D engraved acryl plates, displaying nautical wave patterns and islands. Rebbelib invites viewers to get lost or find their way while exploring frozen Chaos.
*Rebbelib are ancient Marshall Islands stick charts of ocean swells and wave patterns used by former Marshallese for navigation. Chaotic patterns surrounding us are based on a fixed and definable set of rules for pattern formation. Chaos and Randomness are very distinct concepts. Nature is about Chaos, which is deterministic.
